Yes sir, they can. And quite handily I might add. After winning all 3 of their group games (outscoring their opponents 10-1), they beat England 2-1,(the English just couldn't live up to the hype, but can they ever?) Argentina 3-1, Italy 4-2 (Italy despite being up one early in the first half never looked like comng back from 4 unanswered goals), then finally won the World Cup with a pretty clinical 4-0 dismantling of the not-so-brilliant Orange.

That's odd, because I just took a look and Germany, after handing Paraguay a one nothing loss, was sent to their rooms by Argentina in a 3-1 loss.
England on the other hand, after leading their group with 9 points and a plus 24 goal dif, went on to crush Equador and Portugal with a total of 11 unanswered goals. While Brazil were able to pot 2 goals against them, they had no answer for 5 brilliant strikes. In the end, Argentina, who posed such a problem for the struggling German side, was swept aside in a 6-0 beating.
The three stars for England were clearly Backemp, Runey, and Ferdy - backed by some spectacular keeping in Robins. The rest of England's national side were sorely absent in terms of production.

Oh crap! We were both wrong apparently, as Angola just won the World Cup, which is quite surprising considering it was their first appearance in the tournament. Their run to the final saw them outscore their group opponents 22-2, including a 10-0 thrashing of the much fancied Mexican side. The knock out rounds saw them defeat the Argies 5-2, England 5-2, Brazil 6-3, and though they struggled against the Dutch, they defeated them 3-2 to take the trophy home. The player of the tournament was Awaka, notably his goal from just outside his own penalty area, a screamer of a shot.
